Hartley Rogers, Hamilton Lane
Mr. Rogers is the Chairman of Hamilton Lane, one of the world’s largest private equity investors. In addition to focusing on the firm's strategic initiatives and direction, he is closely involved in its investment activities, acting as Co-Head of the Hamilton Lane Co-Investment Fund and serving on the firm's Investment Committee. He spends time with clients and developing new business for the firm. Mr. Rogers is also Chairman of The Richcourt Group, a Hamilton Lane company specializing in hedge fund-of-funds management.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2003, Mr. Rogers was Co-Head of CSFB Equity Partners, a $2.7 billion private equity fund, and a senior partner and Investment Committee member of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners III, a $5.3 billion private equity fund. Prior to joining CSFB in 1997, Mr. Rogers was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley & Co. where he was President of the General Partners of the Princes Gate Investors family of private equity funds and Head of the Morgan Stanley Bridge Fund.
Mr. Rogers received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was designated a Baker Scholar, and an A.B. from Harvard College. He is a Director of the Metropolitan Opera and serves on the Investment Committees of its endowment and pension funds.
